Our Story

Built in response to a broken system.

We are not trying to be a giant brand. We are trying to prove that a better food system is still possible when somebody is willing to actually build it.

I spent 12 years in the medical and commercial cannabis industry, building clean organic production systems for patients who needed quality they could trust. Then my father was diagnosed with a degenerative brain disease. I sold my company, moved to Florida to take care of him, and started looking at the food on grocery store shelves the same way I used to look at medicine.

What I saw was a system rigged against everyone in it. Farmers squeezed by costs they did not create. Customers paying premium prices for food shipped halfway across the country. Soil destroyed by salt-based nutrients and EDTA chelates that have no place in clean food production. A supply chain bloated with middlemen who add nothing to the product but cost.

TerraVida Organics is what I built in response. Our model is simple. Grow clean food locally using methods refined over a decade in a far more demanding industry. Cut out the long-distance shipping, the unnecessary middlemen, and the chemical inputs that degrade both the land and the product. Sell directly to the chefs, retailers, and families who actually live near the farm.

The cannabis industry taught me two things. Quality is non-negotiable. And keeping overhead low enough to compete is what separates real operations from the ones that fold. TerraVida is built on both.

We grow microgreens the way medicine should be grown. Clean inputs, organic methods, and full transparency from seed to harvest. Every tray is grown on hemp mats with our own compost tea blend, never salt-based fertilizers, and harvested at peak nutrition for chefs and customers who can taste the difference. Our varieties are selected for the Tampa Bay restaurant and specialty retail market, with a focus on consistency and quality you can build a menu around.

Fresh herbs, delivered local — never flown in.

Restaurant-grade culinary herbs grown locally and delivered fresh, not flown in from across the country three days past harvest. Our greenhouse production is built around clean organic methods, precise environmental control, and steady year-round supply. We grow for chefs who care where their ingredients come from and retailers whose customers ask the same question.

Horse Boarding

Full-service boarding. Two of Florida's largest trail systems at the gate.

Full-service boarding at a working farm with direct access to the Cross Florida Greenway and Withlacoochee State Forest, two of Florida's largest trail systems, both within walking distance of the barn.

Twelve stalls available, each with running water and room to move, plus daily grooming and feeding included in every boarding agreement. No trailer required to ride. Our facility is built for horse owners who want their animals well cared for and want to spend their time riding, not hauling.
